(ABOVE: Downtown Seattle from Kerry Park. 50mm, 30 sec at f/22, ISO 100). Well folks, we’re still on our massive road-trip around the Pacific Northwest. We came up to Washington last week to shoot a fabulous wedding (pics coming next week), and we decided to take some time off of work to visit friends, family and some insanely beautiful locations around the Northwest before we move to San Diego next month… WOW, that’s coming up fast, we haven’t even started packing!!! Anyways, here are some photos from the trip thus far:
We visited this little lake up in the mountains and it was quite windy. This is what Joelle does when it’s windy.

We’ve visited a lot of my (Gary’s) relatives who live all over the place in Washington, two of which are my mom’s parents – Joelle’s great grandparents. They are so sweet together and couldn’t get enough of Joelle. They have a huge ranch / farm in the mountains of central Washington. It was so peaceful to be out there and disconnect from the world for a few days (literally, we didn’t have cell signals or internet or anything… we even watched a movie on VHS, it was an awesome blast from the past). Okay, so we kept coming across these “big foot” prints that would run across the road every now and then, pretty funny stuff. I’d definitely be friends with whoever did this.
Spent a lot of time in Seattle and it’s been insanely fun for Courtney and I. We’ve just been running around the city (babyless – thanks mom) checkin’ out all the sites, eating delicious food, getting all jacked up on great coffee and having some stellar “date days and nights”!!! Anyways, we also got kinda carried away with some self portraits (using the good ole timer function on our cameras):

Coolest wall ever at the EMP building in the Seattle Center area. We seriously LOVED this city, we think it’s even better than Portland… and those are strong words, but we said it :) We love love love this town and will fight anyone “in the face” who doesn’t agree.
