Well folks, we’re on our way from San Diego to Central Oregon, and will spend the next week partying (and shootin’ weddings and doing some photography consulting and blah blah blah), but wanted to let Y’ALL know that we’ll be available TO YOU for the next 7 days to:

In the midsts of a crazy wedding season, and LOTS of enagement shoots & weddings gone unblogged, we wanted to make a special effort and blog this session with Laura & Sean… they, are, awesome… they know no other way than to bring the party, and we can’t wait to party with them on their wedding day this January. We met Sean when we all journeyed halfway across the globe to visit South Africa earlier this year, he’s a very talented “creative” (designer, web developer and photographer), and we just met Laura for the first time at this shoot and found her to be a pure delight … so excited for you Sean, and SO MUCH congratulations to you both!!! Welp, we had ourselves another successful trip of epic proportions. Maui and all of it’s fine inhabitants are always soooo good us… thanks to all our pals on Maui who’s love and laughter keep us comin’ back for more… we can’t seem to ever get enough of you guys. We’ll be back again, it’s only a matter of time ;) Here’s a few images from some of the stuff we did while on vacation… pretty much consisting of TONS of beach time, BBQing, lounging, boating, diving, surfing, eating mass quantities of delicious food, nap taking, hiking and more beach time… the “usual”. Now it’s back to the real world… which is taking epic photos of awesome people, not a bad “real world” to come back to :) We’re totally blessed and fully recognize the abnormality of the life we get to live…  life is just too short for it to be lame… so we encourage you to go, do, make, live. Adventure is out there, just waiting for you. Party on people, and be excellent to each-other ;)

We went for a little waterfall hike in the jungle and got caught in a downpour. Joelle was concerned.

The Woodards are some of our bestest besties. They live on Maui. We party with them ’round the clock when we’re here. Here’s a few out takes from them partying at Yogurtland yesterday.

Welp, as Joelle would say, we’re off to “MOW-MOW!!!”… I think she’s even more excited than we are to visit our “home land” ;) We’re headin’ out again for what has become our biannual trip to Maui to lay low (take a breather from an intensely awesome wedding season), party with friends, and soak up some warm weather (it’s been rather dreary out here on the San Diego coast…”June Gloom” has become “July Gloom”, and looks like it’s shaping up to also be “August Gloom”)… so we’re overly excited to escape the marine-layer and get us some sunny skies & warm weather (and warm water… hopefully epic surf  as well). Alo-freakin’-ha my friends. We’ll be back and ready for more crazy photography action on August 11th.

This is what Joelle looks like when she sings along with her little cartoons :) Love this little hoodlum.

Here’s a few of our favorite images from Vanessa & Red[hgert]‘s wedding… man, truly love these two. Red was our gracious host when we visited South Africa at the beginning of Oh-10. He’s one of kind… amazing cook, even more amazing heart, and  he surfs daily with the slew of Great White sharks of Herolds Bay… he’s a crazy shredder. We didn’t get to actually meet Vanessa on our trip (she was either back in Cali or traveling to some far off international destination), we only heard of her awesomeness from Red and the boys, and they were right. Vanessa exudes awesomeness, inside and out. Combined these two are gonna rock the socks off of South Africa. R&V, thank you so much for bringing us up to Fresno and letting us capture your beautiful wedding day, it was our pleasure! Never have we witnessed such joy in a wedding ceremony (you guys had us both in tears behind our cameras). Blessings on you guys in South Africa, we’ll come visit sooner than later ;) View slideshow

Kerry is one of my dearest life-long friends. We went through high school together, saw each other through every major relationship for the last 13 years, worked together and partied in London together. Seeing your friends find their perfect match is one of the greatest joys in a friendship and Kerry has certainly found that in Andy. Kerry was one of my bridesmaids when I married Gary and it will be my great honor to be one of hers when she and Andy tie the knot in September. They came down from San Francisco briefly for “the 4th” and (in between screams from Joelle) I snapped a few quick shots of them in our backyard. How freakin’ cute are they????

Meet Christy & Jason… engaged to be wed this October… love these two lots ;) and we’re overly excited for their wedding day.

This last weekend we had the privilege of flyin’ on over to Colorado to photograph Maggie and John’s wedding at the vast and beautiful Spruce Mountain Ranch near Colorado Springs. What wasn’t to love about this wedding? Epic location, stunning bridal party, awesome family, loads of time set aside for photography, big white puffy clouds, crazy blue sky, a bride and groom who were truly, madly and deeply in love :) I mean, c’mon it doesn’t get much better than this! John and Maggie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for flying us out to be with you on such a special day. It was an honor. Much love to you both and blessings on your new life together in Colorado.
